Prof. Alex Doodo
Professor Alex Dodoo is the CEO of the Ghana Standards Authority and an Associate Professor in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Ghana Medical School.
Prof Alex Doodo served two 2-year terms (2008-2012) as President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, the professional organisation for all 2500+ pharmacists in the country. Prof. Dodoo holds a B.Pharm degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana and MSc (Biopharmacy) and PhD degrees from Kings College London, University of London. Between the MSc and PhD, he undertook a year of research in neuro-pharmacology and neuroscience at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Prof Dodoo has extensive experience and global recognition in drug regulation, pharmacy, pharmacovigilance, immunization and clinical pharmacology. He was President (2008-2012) of the Pharmacy Information Section of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and was also a member of the Board of Pharmacy Practice of FIP, the umbrella organisation for all pharmacists in the world. In 2009, Prof. Dodoo became the first African and the first non-European to be elected President of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP), a position he held till 2012. He has served on several global boards and committees including the Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety, the CIOMS/WHO Working Group on Drug Development in Resource Poor Countries, the NIH Drug Safety and Monitoring Board (DSMB) for HIV/AIDS trials in Africa, the Safety Surveillance Working Group of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Enteric and Diarrhoeal Diseases Advisory Group of the same foundation.

Hon. Samia Nkrumah
Daughter of Dr Kwame Nkrumah and former Chairperson of the CPP
Samia Yaba Christina Nkrumah is a Ghanaian politician, a former Member of Parliament and a former chairperson of the Convention People's Party.
The daughter of the first president of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah. Samia attended Achimota School and later proceeded to the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London in the United Kingdom, where she obtained the degree of Bachelor Arabic Studies in 1991. She also completed a Master's degree at the same institution in 1993.

Isaac Julius Asiedu-Gyekye, PHD, FGCPharm
Dr. Isaac Julius Asiedu-Gyekye obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences specializing in Pharmacology and Toxicology in 1998 from Pyatigorsk State Pharmaceutical Academy.
Under the previous system in the University of Ghana, he served as the Vice Dean. He has acquired wide range of experience in the area of research into non-communicable diseases and natural products. He has also served on important Boards and Committees at the University. He is a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the National Centre for Pharmacovigilance as expert in Pharmacology and Toxicology. He has made presentations in both local and International Conferences and has over 40 peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals and 2 books to his credit including a manual of harmonized procedures for assessing the safety and efficacy of plant medicines in Ghana. His academic qualifications include PhD- (Pharmaceutical Sciences) Pyatigorsk Pharmaceutical Academy MSc Pharm- Pyatigorsk Pharmaceutical Academy CMC, FDIP, MCPA, MPSGh, IPMA Aside full time lecturing of whole Pharmacology Programme in Basic and Applied Pharmacology in the University of Ghana Medical School, University of Ghana School of Pharmacy, School of Veterinary Medicine, School of Nursing and School of Allied Health, some of his remarkable areas of specialization include: Safety and efficacy of natural products Non-communicable diseases Hypertension Asthma On-Going Research works of which he’s played pivotal roles include the following but not exhaustive as he keeps exploring new areas; Safety and Efficacy Studies Safety assessment of unsweetened natural cocoa powder and its organoprotective effects during artemether-lumefantrine administration. Pharmacodynamic studies on the mechanisms of action of natural products (the role of nitric oxide). Study Into Anticancer Potentials Of Herbal Preparations Cytotoxic, mutagenic and DNA modulatory properties selected medicinal plants.

Kwame Sefa Kayi, multiple award winning journalist
Kwami Sefa Kayi who is also known as Chairman General comes from Ho – Bankoe in the Volta region. Kwami Sefa Kayi is married with three children; two girls and a boy. He had his Senior Secondary Education at Okuapeman Secondary School and furthered his education, holds a G.C.E., O and A- Level Courses in Broadcasting and Media Studies, Certificate in Public Relations, Advertising & Marketing all from the Institute of Journalism, and a Certificate in Advance communication from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
His life has not turned out as he expected as a youngster because his youth ambition was to be an Army officer, "Because he thinks it is the most courageous and humble thing to do in life". Kwami joined a drama group at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation where he later got his first lesson in Radio Journalism. Living a day at a time, the multiple award winner, who loves to read and play tennis as his hobbies, is a Christian whose favorite book is the Bible. He is also interested in anything by Bob Marley. He is the host of the popular morning show on Peace FM called the “Kokrokoo” and he has the ability to affect millions of lives positively. Kwami Sefa is still achieving the proudest. Mr. Kayi’s favorite team is the Hearts of Oak, Kpando Hearts of Lions and Chelsea FC. Kwami over the years have improved in his carrier and thus won the admiration of many in and outside the country and even joked about how he has moved on from the local tro-tro transport to his mother’s place at Okponglo, to now driving a Mercedes Benz.
